Ruland Architects is celebrating its 30th anniversary!

In June 1994, Joost Ruland started his own firm: Ruland Architects. Since then, he has worked on a wide range of projects, varying from the construction of a UFO to large-scale renovations of national monument stations. The common denominator in all these assignments is the combination of unique challenges and complex locations. Below is a small selection from 30 years of Ruland Architects.

With thanks for the trust and cooperation over the past 30 years, we wish you happy holidays and a prosperous 2025!

Haarlem station opens new doors for 2025

Commissioned by NS and ProRail, two new entrance doors were installed at Haarlem station just before the holidays. The doors have been carefully reconstructed according to the original design. In total, there will be five new entrance doors, the remaining three doors will be installed in the new year by contractor GeelRonitz.

With these good intentions, Haarlem station will once again have an entrance that matches the architecture of the monument.
