{"id":4305,"date":"2021-09-15T15:34:31","date_gmt":"2021-09-15T15:34:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ruland.nl\/news_20210915\/"},"modified":"2023-07-11T08:57:52","modified_gmt":"2023-07-11T08:57:52","slug":"news_20210915-en","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ruland.nl\/en\/news_20210915-en\/","title":{"rendered":"Extraordinary painting restored"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"7\">At Deventer station, the largely disappeared cast iron windows have been made new on the basis of a few remaining windows.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"1\" data-number-of-phrases=\"7\">The skylight has thus been restored to its original image and detail, of course with due observance of the most modern safety requirements.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"3\" data-number-of-phrases=\"7\">The waiting rooms at Deventer station are part of the platform roof.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"4\" data-number-of-phrases=\"7\">It turned out that the repair work was quite extensive.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"5\" data-number-of-phrases=\"7\">This gave the opportunity to restore the existing oak ceilings to their original state.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"6\" data-number-of-phrases=\"7\">The special silhouette drawings by illustrator Chris Kras (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lambiek.net\/aanvang\/feith.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jan Feith<\/a>) have also been restored and preserved.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Deventer station, the largely disappeared cast iron windows have been made new on the basis of a few remaining windows.
