{"id":4285,"date":"2021-07-19T13:48:08","date_gmt":"2021-07-19T13:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ruland.nl\/?p=4285"},"modified":"2021-12-14T13:57:29","modified_gmt":"2021-12-14T13:57:29","slug":"news_20210719-en","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ruland.nl\/en\/news_20210719-en\/","title":{"rendered":"Station Geldermalsen revisited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"6\">The r<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ruland.nl\/en\/portfolio-item\/20-08149_geldermalsen-en\/\">edevelopment and restoration of the special Geldermalsen station<\/a> building was completed in 2015, designed by Ruland Architecten.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"1\" data-number-of-phrases=\"6\">At the time, the restoration of the outbuilding fell outside the scope, although this was provided for in the design.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"2\" data-number-of-phrases=\"6\">We are therefore very pleased that this last part of the station has finally been restored.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"3\" data-number-of-phrases=\"6\">As in the main building, the frame divisions have been restored and painted in the original color palette.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"4\" data-number-of-phrases=\"6\">The masonry with its special facade drawing in colored brick has been restored.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"nl\" data-phrase-index=\"5\" data-number-of-phrases=\"6\">The unique island station of Geldermalsen, a special part of the industrial heritage, has been restored to its full glory.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The redevelopment and restoration of the special Geldermalsen station building was completed in 2015, designed by Ruland Architecten.
